Abstrak
Apakah teologi Reformed mesti mengimplikasikan penolakan keras terhadap teologi natural? Apakah kalangan Kristen Reformed perlu sepenuhnya meremehkan atau merendahkan teologi natural? Di dalam artikel ini, penulis berargumentasi bahwa gagasan “kitab alam” akan menjadi fondasi historis-teologis untuk menghargai wahyu umum di dalam alam ciptaan dan meneguhkan teologi natural. Penulis akan meringkaskan ikhtisar sejarah dari gagasan liber naturae di dalam kekristenan dan dalam tradisi Reformed itu sendiri. Selanjutnya, penulis akan menyajikan argumentasi dari sudut pandang sebagai seorang Reformed Injili dalam menanggapi keberatan-keberatan terhadap teologi natural. Sejalan dengan teologi Reformed dan Evangelikalisme, kitab alam perlu dibaca dengan kacamata Kitab Suci, dan teologi natural juga ditegaskan sebagai sebuah langkah persiapan dalam pemberitaan injil.
