Abstrak
Melalui pendekatan kritik naratif, artikel ini mendeskripsikan bagaimana tema pengharapan-dan-ketegangan membentuk suatu benang merah untuk keseluruhan injil Markus. Mengerti bagaimana Markus mempertahankan pengharapan dan ketegangan di keseluruhan injilnya membantu para pembaca mengeksplorasi injil Markus dengan cara yang lebih hidup, integral dan relevan.
