Wilson Jeremiah adalah dosen tetap di STT SAAT Malang, Indonesia. Ia merupakan seorang kandidat Ph.D. dalam bidang teologi dari Trinity International University, USA, dan menyelesaikan studi Magister Divinitas (M.Div.) dari STT SAAT, Malang dan Magister Teologi (Th.M.) dalam bidang Philosophical Theology dari Calvin Theological Seminary, Amerika Serikat. Wilson juga adalah seorang Langham Scholar dari Langham Partnership USA yang berkomitmen untuk memperlengkapi generasi pengajar-pengajar Alkitab berikutnya dan melayani gereja secara global.

Abstrak

Berteologi dan mengonstruksi dogmatik Kristen tidak mungkin tidak mengandalkan penggunaan rasio yang baik dengan berpikir kritis dan logis. Teologi analitik abad dua puluh satu merupakan sebuah gerakan intelektual yang menekankan pentingnya perangkat filsafat analitik dan logika modern dalam berteologi. Namun demikian, teologi analitik secara umum belum menghasilkan karya-karya teologis yang sesuai dengan kaidah-kaidah ilmu teologi. Maka, tulisan ini membahas sebuah model berteologi secara “analitik” dari abad keenam belas dan ketujuh belas yang berasal dari tradisi skolastik Reformed, dan menampilkan beberapa karakteristik unggulan dalam tradisi tersebut. Dengan memberikan survei historis-analitis terhadap sumber-sumber pertama dan kedua yang berkaitan dengan skolastisisme  Reformed, penulis memperlihatkan bagaimana model berteologi skolastik Reformed yang confessional, sistematis, dialogis, katolik, kontekstual, dan edukatif menginspirasi para teolog masa kini dan seterusnya untuk melanjutkan konstruksi dogmatika Kristen secara rasional tanpa menjadi rasionalistis, terbuka tanpa mengompromikan kebenaran, dan interdisipliner namun integratif.
