Abstrak

Tulisan ini berusaha membandingkan perbedaan dan kesamaan antara Herman Bavinck dan Mazmur 1 terkait konsep peneladanan Allah dalam aspek gambar Allah, peneladanan Kristus/Allah, dan implikasinya dalam kehidupan di dunia ini. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dengan pendekatan kualitatif-komparatif. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa Herman Bavinck dan Mazmur 1 keduanya menegaskan bahwa gambar dan peneladanan Allah esensial bagi transformasi etis dan pertumbuhan rohani, meskipun mereka mendekati hal ini dari landasan teologis dan mode penerapan yang berbeda. Bavinck, melalui lensa Kristosentris dan Reformed, menekankan bahwa gambar Allah, meskipun rusak oleh dosa, dipulihkan dalam persatuan dengan Kristus, yang mengarah pada kehidupan ketaatan, pengorbanan diri, dan kebajikan. Mazmur 1, di sisi lain, menyajikan peniruan melalui meditasi Taurat, yang menumbuhkan kehidupan yang adil dan berbuah, ditandai oleh keadilan dan kesetiaan perjanjian. Meskipun Bavinck berfokus pada Kristus sebagai model pemulihan, Mazmur 1 menonjolkan kekuatan pembentukan Kitab Suci. Keduanya sepakat bahwa peniruan sejati Allah membawa pembaruan batin dan transformasi luar yang dibentuk oleh bimbingan ilahi.
